Perfectly Imperfect Food Waste Reduction & Education Program

High Desert Food and Farm Alliance will tackle food waste at the source by rescuing surplus or “imperfect” food from local farms, community gardens and farmers markets that would otherwise go to waste and redirecting it to consumers who visit their regular farmers market booths and pop-ups. They will include interactive education activities aimed at helping community members learn about the environmental and social impacts of food waste, empowering them to make more sustainable choices.
