Mountainfilm is back for its 14th tour in Bend. As always, the event will showcase the very best of Telluride Mountainfilm Festival, an annual film festival in Colorado synonymous with the world’s finest film making. All event proceeds benefit The Environmental Center’s mission to embed sustainability into daily life in Central Oregon. The 22nd annual Eagle Watch Celebration is on February 25-26 at Round Butte Overlook Park near Madras. The celebration focuses on the eagles and other raptors that live in the Lake Billy Chinook area. This is a family-friendly event that includes live birds of prey, wild eagle viewing, raptor education, kids activities, and a special presentation of tribal drumming and dancing by The Quartz Creek Drummers and Dancers.
