This guide was developed based on focus group discussions with tourism industry professionals and findings from the Rethink Waste Tourism Pilot Project in 2021-2023 in partnership with Deschutes County Solid Waste, Visit Central Oregon and participating lodging sites. The guide is intended to help property managers and owners set visitors up for success to reduce, reuse, recycle, and compost.
Plastic Film Recycling SOP
These Standard Operating Procedures are for beverage manufacturers and distributors collecting plastic film (pallet wrap) for recycling.
This SOP was developed based on focus group discussions with beverage manufacturers and other local businesses and findings from the Rethink Waste Plastic film Recycling Pilot in partnership with Deschutes Brewery, Crater Lake Spirits, and participating beverage manufacturers.
