From Billboards to Beavers – A Zero-Waste Restoration Project

Think Wild will eliminate single-use plastic waste from riparian restoration by replacing disposable contractor bags with reusable willow harvest bags made from retired billboard vinyl. They will offer four community sewing workshops, reuse PVC billboards, reduce plastic waste to zero, and engage 380 volunteers in creative waste reduction. They will use this project to model “reuse” and “repair” while building a circular system that fosters environmental stewardship.
