Reuse Tips & Resourses

After reducing your consumption, REUSE is the second most impactful action you can take. What does REUSE mean?

1. Buy used, rather than new. Purchasing something that has already been made prevents new materials from being harvested from our precious ecosystems.

2. Choose reusable over single-use- think water bottles, coffee mugs, dishware, grocery bags, rags vs. paper towles, etc.

3. Refill-Check out grocery stores that allow you to refill goods in your own container, avoiding single-use packaging!

4. Donate/upcycle-reuse items you already have rather than landfilling them. This could include making rags out of old sheets or gifting something to someone who could make use of it!
