Green Leadership Coalition
What is the Green Leadership Coalition?
Green Leadership Coalition (GLC) focuses on students in Central Oregon who are passionate leaders and advocates for lasting change within their schools. The GLC plans to work together and produce tangible results within schools and communities for successful sustainable shifts.
Who can join the GLC?
Bend-La Pine School District students are welcome to joing the GLC's meetings and events. New to sustainability? No problem! The GLC focuses on education and empowering students to be leaders in their own communities.
Examples of Past Meetings & Events
- Gardening in the Learning Garden
- Inclusive Clothing Swap
- Student presentations on topics in sustainability (e.g. Fast Fashion)
- Informational panel/Q&A on voting with political candidates and current elected officials
- Volunteering at community events
