This will be an informative session for those who are interested in participating in the program whether for their residence, business, nonprofit or government building, community members who want to help build momentum for a local project, and/or those who are just curious to learn more!

The brewery supply chain encompasses a diverse set of businesses and industries that all have the opportunity to make their operations more energy efficient. Join us as we explore our favorite beverage from hops, to brewery, to refrigerator, to hand (because you’ll have a nice cold one in your hand while you listen) to learn how local businesses can save energy.

Electric vehicles are happening. They’re not just the future of driving—they are already hitting the road in record numbers all over the world. Oregon has an opportunity to be behind the wheel, helping to drive this transformation. Our state ranks fifth in the nation, per capita, for the number of plug-in vehicles with more than 16,000 registered EVs. But we aspire to go even further.

Bend is developing a community climate action plan to reduce local greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change. That means taking a hard look at new sources of energy, since the majority of the energy we use today is generated by burning fossil fuels. Join us for a thought-provoking discussion about two options that our community could use to rapidly transition to a low-carbon, 100% renewable energy future.
