Solarize Deschutes, a Community-Driven Campaign Offers Discounted Solar to Deschutes County Residents
If you have been thinking about going solar, now is the time to get a bid while the Solarize Deschutes campaign is offering big discounts. The Environmental Center, Energize Bend, Envision Bend and the City of Bend are committed to working together to encourage Deschutes County residents to live lighter on the planet and build a more sustainable community. Clean solar energy plays an important role in reaching those goals. Energy Trust of Oregon and Solar Oregon are joining with these community partners to support Solarize Deschutes. This limited-time, community-focused effort offers educational workshops, discount pricing and local, pre-qualified contractors to make it easy and more affordable for more homeowners to install solar. We also want to help people learn about community solar options.
Solarize Deschutes runs from August 15-October 31 2024. To qualify for Solarize discount pricing, simply fill your bid request form by Oct. 31, 2024. A pre-qualified contractor will provide a no-obligation, custom analysis and bid. If you already have solar this is a fantastic opportunity to request a bid for battery storage and learn about storage incentives. Projects must be completed by June 30, 2025.
