Wednesday Birders

Join local birders every Wednesday for birding trips in Central Oregon. Meet at 8:00 AM at Nancy P’s at 1054 Milwaukee in Bend. The group car pools, sharing expenses for gas, and taking turns driving. Current plans for February are:
• February 4: Woodpecker search in the Green Ridge area. Especially looking for black-backed and Three-toed woodpeckers.
• February 11: Wastewater ponds and Redmond, Culver, Madras, Prineville ponds and if time, Hatfield Lake in Bend. This is an ALL DAY event.
• February 18: Alfalfa, Powell Butte, birding open fields for raptors, horned Larks, other ground feeders.
• February 25: Sisters area and Suttle Lake,
Plans may vary due to weather or rare birds spotted prior to the meeting.
