Water and Wildflowers Hike

Join the Deschutes Land Trust and Leslie Olson for a history hike in Skyline Forest. Watch for
summer wildflowers like lupine and penstemon as you learn about how irrigation shaped the
settlement of Central Oregon. We’ll hike from Snag Springs to Juniper Point and enjoy excellent
views of Skylin Forest, Sisters and the Ochocos. Registration is required and opens 1 month
prior to the event.
Rating: Challenging, ~6 mile hike.
What to Bring: Snacks/lunch, water, sturdy hiking shoes. Dress for the weather.
