Protecting Oregon’s Wild Places
Join Oregon Wild for a slideshow presentation that both celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act and looks ahead to how we can better protect our natural treasures. Oregon Wild’s Wilderness Coordinator, Erik Fernandez, will explore past protections of treasures like the Three Sisters and Mount Hood as well as discuss campaigns to protect Crater Lake, the Wild Rogue, and others. The presentation will include beautiful photography from around Oregon as well as note the ecological and recreational values these areas provide.
