Project Ponderosa Tree Plantings

Volunteers needed to plant!
What: These events are part of “Project Ponderosa”, a 9 year effort promoting student environmental awareness and ponderosa pine restoration in Sunriver and the Upper-Deschutes ecosystem.
Our Goal: To plant 2,000 bare-root Ponderosa Pine seedlings.

Thursday, April 23, 8:30am-11:30am @ Three Rivers School (Sunriver Business Park – North Side)
Friday, April 24, 9:00am-11:30am @ Penhollow Compost Site & Nursery (Cottonwood Rd.)

Park in the ‘Faculty Lot’ – first or second left turn- at the school. Then walk around the left (west) side of the building. The potting event will be behind the Gymnasium.
