Pride Week, Dykes on Bikes

The Official “Dykes on Bikes” out of Portland will be here this year for Central Oregon Pride 2014. The newly formed chapter of the DOB motorcycle club will be coming to Central Oregon to help kick off this year’s event with a loosely organized ride. As in the past 2 years, we will meet at Strictly Organic Coffee (a HUGE friend of the gay community). From there we will do a ride through the Old Mill, past a few parks, then through what ever part of downtown we can access (Bite of Bend on the same weekend), finishing at Drake Park (Bend, OR) about 12:30 to help Kick Off the Opening Ceremony for Pride.

As many of you may know, DOB has been a long standing icon for the kick off of many a gay parade. All are welcome to join in the ride. Male, female, neither or both. Mopeds, scooters, crotch rockets or rumbling hogs. We don’t discriminate.
