Ochoco Divide Cross-Country Ski Trip with Oregon Wild

Level: Easy/Moderate (Advanced Beginner)
Distance: 6 miles round trip
Elevation Gain: Minimal with a few moderate hills

Location: Ochoco Divide (carpools depart from Bend)

Join Central Oregon Field Coordinator Pam Hardy and the Central Oregon Nordic Club for a cross-country ski adventure out to the Ochoco Divide to see some country that most people don’t even know about (even if they live in Bend!). We’ll meet in Bend, drive out for a little high country adventure, and return by dark. This trip is suggested for “advanced beginners” – you should be comfortable on cross country skis, but we’ll be skiing along Forest Service roads that have been closed for the winter, so the terrain won’t be difficult.
