Cancelled: Noche de Cuentos

‘Noche de Cuentos’ was created to connect Latinos and Spanish-speakers to the traditions of oral storytelling prominent in Latin America. The program will consist of food, a workshop to help participants build the skills to tell their own stories and explore the art of storytelling, and will conclude with a presentation by a local Storyteller/Librarian from Redmond name Pia Alliende. The program is open to all ages, although the workshop is geared toward school-age children, teens, and adults. Deschutes Public Library will provide child care and crafting happening during this section for the smallest kiddos.

Noche de cuentos es una iniciativa formada para celebrar el poder que tiene la narración en unir a nuestras comunidades. Reúnase con nosotros para celebrar las ricas y abundantes tradiciones de narración de América Latina. Venga a escuchar cuentacuentos de nuestra comunidad en Central Oregón y aprendan como iniciar su propia relación con la narración. ¡Invitamos a toda la familia a participar!
