Movie Night @ McMenamins: Bikes vs Cars

Central Oregon Trail Alliance and Bend Bikes invite you to take a closer look at the different ways that bicycles and cars affect the livability of Central Oregon. We can all see that more cars and more congestion are making an unwelcome impact in Bend.

Bikes vs Cars follows the individuals around the world that are fighting to create change. And it gets you thinking about whether you absolutely have to drive for your next trip, or maybe you don’t.

From bike activists in Sao Paulo and Los Angeles, fighting for safe bike lanes, to the City of Copenhagen, where forty percent commute by bike daily, Bikes vs Cars will look at both the struggle for cyclists in a society dominated by cars, and the revolutionary changes that could take place if more cities moved away from car-centric models.
