Learn to Sculpt Natural Forms Workshop

Join the Nature Center for two full days of playing with clay! Clay is a wonderful, expressive, and tactile art medium. In this class, nature sculptor Rick Braithwaite will teach you the basics of representing animal life with clay. Learn the fundamentals of nature sculpture, from basic forming, anatomy and proportions to finishing textures and personality. Sculpting will be based off images of animals or one of the Nature Center’s resident raptors. Through this class you will learn to use techniques and your own creativity create your own unique piece of nature art.

The cost of the class includes all materials.

Cost: $75 **Price Discounted**
A simple lunch is provided on Saturday (bring a bag lunch on Sunday). Please bring a lunch for Saturday if you have special diet considerations.

Class is 10am-4pm Saturday and Sunday.
