Help Protect our Local Wilderness Areas

$65 – $75On the evening of June 15th, the Great Old Broads for Wilderness are hosting a discussion of the increasing overuse impacts we’re seeing in the wilderness areas located in close proximity to our Central Oregon communities.
Jesse Engebretson, a PhD Candidate in the Department of Forest Ecosystems and Society in the College of Forestry at Oregon State University will discuss increasing impacts to popular areas such as Green Lakes, No Name Lake and South Sister, followed by small group discussions of what wilderness means to all of us, and what can be done to protect these precious areas.
