Locavore is pleased to screen: The Evolution of Organic, the history of organic agriculture, told by those who built the movement that rejected chemical farming and set out to explore organic alternatives with a vision of sustainability. Before and after the screening, please visit with our local farmers and learn about Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) options! The most crucial way a community member can help strengthen the food system and help contribute to small local farms is through purchasing a CSA share. CSA shares are a subscription to a season’s worth of sustainable, locally-grown produce that is distributed to members throughout the harvesting season. Peoples Pies will be there offering delicious, organic, savory pies. Beverages will be available.
