Field Sketching workshop

Join the Deschutes Land Trust and artist Rebecca Brown-Thompson for a workshop on field sketching. On the first day we’ll be in the studio focusing on honing basic techniques valuable for all forms of sketching. Learn how to train your eye to see negative spaces, shapes, proportion, perspective, and tones. Then, the second day, you’ll move on to flora and fauna drawing tips and how to draw what you see, not what you think you see. This workshop is day one of a two-day workshop and is open to adults of all skill levels. Registration opens 1 month prior to the event.
