What? A one-day workshop introducing participants to the National Project for Excellence in Environmental Education series via two modules: Non-formal Environmental Education Programs and Environmental Education Materials– Guidelines for Excellence. These Guidelines offer a set of recommendations for developing and administering high quality non-formal environmental education programs.
What you will receive? Each participant will receive copies of Non-formal Environmental Education Programs –Guidelines for Excellence and Environmental Education Materials: Guidelines for Excellence.
Workshop Objectives:
- To identify the key characteristics of high quality environmental education programs
- To discuss the relationship between program design and program evaluation
- Describe the key characteristics of quality environmental education materials
- Apply the Environmental Education Materials: Guidelines for Excellence to instructional materials.
