Oregon has new single family residential building codes that improve energy efficiency and sustainability in the built environment. This creates challenges for builders and HVAC contractors. We will explore some cost effective solutions to meet the new Oregon codes in the area of HVAC. We will also try to clarify some of the gray areas of new code and help builders minimize the growing pains into the new code.
