Central Oregon’s Women’s March for Action

Anniversary event of the first Women’s March. Get ready to take ACTION! 2018 will be an energized and fast paced year.

A year ago, nearly 5,000 Central Oregonians marched to make a statement and feel the strength of our numbers!  This January 20^th, we peacefully march again to remind ourselves of our commitment to making the world a better place, in solidarity with the official Women’s March anniversary event in Las Vegas as well as sister marches across the country and world. The theme of the National Women’s March is “Power to the Polls” at a local, state, and national level.

This year’s march begins in Drake Park where we will gather at 11:30. The Resistas will perform at 11:50, and the feet start moving at 12:00 noon.  The one-mile route flows around downtown Bend, ending back at Drake Park.  We encourage all to come march peacefully  with us and put those in power on notice: we are taking our Power to the Polls this year in a big way. This is the Central Oregon Women’s March for ACTION!
