Castor Canadensis in the Beaver State

November 20 @ 6:45 pm - 8:00 pm

BeaverWorks Oregon will overview the profound influence beavers have had on our landscape’s ecosystems. As a keystone species, beavers forestall drought, flooding, wildfire, extinction and the ravages of climate change. Busy as a beaver, eager beaver, beavering away—there’s a reason this critter has inspired such appraisals. As we learn about their lifecycle, habitat requirements, vulnerability and needed protections, BeaverWorks Oregon will share the challenges of restoring beaver to watersheds in Oregon and other western states.

Free and open to the public.
