Bull Springs History Hike

Join the Deschutes Land Trust and Kelly Madden for a history hike in Skyline Forest. We’ll hike along ancient Native American trails and follow Bull Creek to explore the early settlement of the area. Learn the history of Laidlaw and Tumalo and the fiasco that was the 1914 Tumalo Reservoir. Along the way, we’ll watch for summer wildflowers and have pause in the cool shade of Bull Springs. Registration is required and opens 1 month prior to the event.

Rating: Moderate, ~3 mile hike.
What to Bring: Snacks/lunch, water, sturdy hiking shoes. Dress for the weather.
