Birders Night: Sandhill Crane film

Gary Ivey invites us into the exciting world of a wild Sandhill Crane couple and their parenthood adventures with a showing of the nature film “Raising Kid Colt.” The film provides viewers with remarkable footage of an Alaska Crane family’s life as well as seldom seen perspectives of raising Sandhill crane colts, and the progression of colt development over a summer. Gary Ivey has worked with wildlife for over thirty-five years including his current position with the International Crane Foundation and a fifteen-year stint working at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge.  More info:
