Arbor Day Tree Planting Ceremony

The City of Bend is partnering with Bend Park and Recreation District (BPRD) to celebrate Arbor Day with the planting of a tree in Pioneer Park, located at 1525 NW Wall Street in Bend.

On Friday, April 28, at 10 a.m., City Manager Eric King will join BPRD Executive Director Don Horton in planting the tree, which replaces a large spruce tree that was lost in 2015 due to extreme wind.

The City of Bend recognizes the importance of trees and tree care. The trees in Bend are an important resource for citizens and local wildlife, as the community continues to grow.
