Earth Day Costume Workshops
Make your own costume for the parade!
We’re pleased to announce two costume-making workshops hosted by local artists:
Mask-making Workshop with Debra Fisher
Saturday, April 7th, 10:00 – 12:30
@ The Environmental Center
This workshop is appropriate for children of all ages; Children under the age of 9 must be accompanied by a parent. Parent participation in costume-making is encouraged!
Materials will be provided. $3.00 suggested donation to help cover the cost of these materials. No registration required, but please arrive at 10:00 a.m. at the beginning of the workshop to receive full instruction.
Costume Workshop with Teafly
Saturday, April 14th, 1:00 – 3:00
@ The Workshouse
If you plan to ride or scoot your way through the parade, come decorate your helmet to match your costume. Teafly will help guide you through the creative process. Bring your helmet, and we’ll provide other supplies. This workshop is appropriate for ages 6+.
This workshop is limited to 25 kids. Parent/guardian must be present. Please register in advance.
