The Unknown Story of the Tumalo Reservoir Area

September 3, 2019

$65 – $75

As the Gateway to the Skyline Forest, the Tumalo Reservoir Area (or Bull Flats) is a critical connection for the Tumalo Deer Winter Range and contains important habitat for elk, mule deer and other wildlife, including a rare and threatened plant species.

You may have heard the story of the failed Tumalo Reservoir in the early 20th century, but did you know protection for this land is still at risk?

Join LandWatch on Wednesday, September 7th for a presentation that will uncover this story with Jamie Hildebrandt – Rock Springs Ranch Manager, Sara Gregory – ODF&W Wildlife Habitat Biologist, and Stu Garrett – botany expert.

When: Wednesday, September 7th 6:00pm – 7:30pm
Where: Brooks Room, Downtown Bend Library
