Let’s Go Camping!

$65 – $75Curious about camping? Don’t have a tent or sleeping bag? No worries. Let’s Go Camping lets you try it out with our gear.
The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to offer a summer series of guided weekend outings for beginning campers of ALL ages. With hands-on lessons, nature hikes and fun family activities, Let’s Go Camping makes camping easy. These events take place all across Oregon and may be coming to a park near you. Camping basics & tent set-up
Equipment care & maintenance
Leave No Trace (outdoor ethics)
The 10 essentials of safe hiking
Fire building & safety
Campfire and Dutch oven cooking
Depending upon your chosen park location, other activities may include:
