Ever found out about a local decision after it happened and thought, “I had no idea”? You’re not alone. Embrace Bend’s CivicsLab is a welcoming, nonpartisan space to ask questions, learn the basics, and leave with clear next steps for staying informed and getting involved in Bend.

Community discussion. A panel-style conversation. Topics we’ll cover:
– Affordable Housing: What “affordable housing” means, common myths, and the real-life impacts on our community.
– Growth Management + Housing Needs: How growth planning connects to housing, where decisions get made, and how community members can stay informed and participate early.
– Energize Bend: What is it, what’s next, and how to stay engaged as implementation moves forward.
