Natural History Walk at Pine Mountain Difficulty Rating: 1 out of 5 June 6th (Friday PM) The third in ONDA’s new series of educational outings showcasing the high desert environs surrounding Bend. Pine Mountain just east of Bend, will allow local expert Tom Rodhouse to showcase views near and far for learning about everything from Pleistocene lakes to birds to distant galaxies (thanks to the astronomy observatory on top).
