Natural History Walk in the Badlands Difficulty Rating: 1 out of 5 June 5th (Thursday AM) The second in a new series of educational outings showcasing the high desert environs surrounding Bend: Spend a day with local expert Stu Garret learning about the natural landscapes in Bend’s own high desert Oregon Badlands Wilderness. This is a great introduction to the natural history and conservation themes and the inhabitants (former and current) of eastern Oregon.
