James Balog and his young team set out on a bold expedition to capture the receding of Iceland’s Solheim Glacier. Employing time-lapse photography over 3 years in harsh subzero Arctic conditions, we see undeniable evidence that these giants of ice are literally shrinking before our eyes. Winner of over 30 film festival awards, Chasing Ice delivers photography and adventure at its most spectacular.
