Every River Tells a Story

2018 marks the 50 year anniversary of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act. Our public land agencies and local nonprofits are coming together to raise awareness for a cause that’s important to all of us, our rivers.

During this family friendly celebration, families will have an opportunity to learn about our local rivers, water and its importance to people and our natural environment. Hands on activities will include, how scientists measure quality of water, how tiny bugs can serve as indicators of water quality, importance of wetlands and basic water science fun.

Program is free and open to all ages.
