Think Wild – Education and Volunteer Manager

Think Wild is seeking an Education and Volunteer Manager to oversee our diverse range of wildlife and environmental educational programming in Central and parts of Eastern Oregon. From diverse volunteer programs to field trips, summer camps, in-school and after school initiatives, this position will work to provide accessible opportunities for students to engage in inquiry-based, hands-on learning experiences focused on native wildlife and ecosystems.

The position will be full-time, exempt (40 hrs/week) and based in Bend, Oregon. The incumbent must be able and willing to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours when needed. Occasional travel throughout Central and parts of Eastern Oregon is required. The range for this position is set at $50,000-$60,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

The Deschutes River Conservancy seeks an Office Manager to join our dynamic team in restoring streamflow and improving water quality in the Deschutes Basin. The Office Manager is responsible for providing general office and administrative support for Deschutes River Conservancy, as well as the Upper Deschutes Watershed Council (UDWC). DRC and UDWC share office space, and the Office Manager supports both organizations in the functions of office management and IT support.

City of Bend – Management Analyst – Environment, Climate & Sustainability

The Environment, Climate & Sustainability Management Analyst is primarily assigned to the City’s Community Climate Action Plan and Strategic Energy Management Programs to reduce community and organizational greenhouse gas emissions. This position will build capacity in the City’s climate action programs by providing data analysis, project management, outreach and education, and other program coordination needs. The Management Analyst works across sectors including energy, buildings, transportation, and waste and materials. The primary role of the Management Analyst will be to analyze data and develop recommendations, lead outreach and education efforts, and manage projects in support of achieving the City’s climate action goals. This position will work cross-departmentally with city departments and also work with community members and stakeholders.

This position will reside in the City Managers Office and report to the Senior Management Analyst who leads the City’s environment and climate-related initiatives. Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory is seeking seasonal Summer Camp Specialists for our Summer Nature Camps and Summer Space Camps! Our summer camp program experiences are for elementary and middle school age children and include interactive activities such as planetarium programs, games, experiments, hikes, crafts, etc. with the natural world in mind. This position is a seasonal summer position averaging 30-35 hours/week at a rate of $19/hour and runs from June 10th until August 31st.
