The Land Trust — Operations Associate

The Operations Associate is a 40 hours/week position that provides administrative, financial, and organizational support for the daily operations of the Deschutes Land Trust. This includes playing a key role in maintaining efficient office systems, supporting financial processes, assisting with human resource functions, and enabling effective daily operations. This position requires excellent organizational skills, experience in financial administration including bookkeeping experience as well as a strong attention to detail.

Seasonal Living History Interpreter

The Living History Interpreter is responsible for interpretation of the Living History Outdoor Campus. The main duties will include interpreting the site for visitors, demonstrating historical activities and assisting in daily operations in period clothing. The seasonal living history interpreter will also assist in program maintenance and other duties as assigned.

Rooted Homes – Bilingual Outreach Coordinator

The Bilingual Outreach Coordinator will be part of the RootedHomes Homeownership Department. They will coordinate all outreach efforts directed at educating prospective homebuyers about RootedHomes’ homeownership program and upcoming housing opportunities. Primary responsibilities include attending outreach events such as resource fairs, community events, culturally specific events, community meetings and any opportunities to connect with buyers in Deschutes, Jefferson and Crook counties. Outreach coordinator will also be responsible for engaging with prospective homebuyers, coordinating and teaching information sessions and being the first point of contact for people interested in the program. This role is a relationship-based role that requires genuine, strong communication with prospective homebuyers. This role requires training in equity and housing justice in alignment with RootedHomes values and mission. This is a role where weekend and evening work will be required.

Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory – Summer Camps Specialist

Do you love nature and space? Join our summer camp team this summer! Our summer Camps specialists lead our Summer Nature and Summer Space Camps experiences for elementary and middle school age children. Our camps include activities such as planetarium programs, games, experiments, hikes, crafts, and more with the natural world in mind. We are looking to hire three seasonal summer positions averaging 30-35 hours/week at a rate of $19.57/hour. This position runs from June 8th until August 21st and is eligible for up to $200 end-of-summer bonus.  Interested in starting earlier? Position Summary: Oregon Desert Land Trust (ODLT) is
seeking two summer interns to support ranch and
preserve management, land health monitoring, hosting
guests and partners, represent ODLT to visitors, neighbors, and community members,
and support land conservation and restoration projects such as general caretaking,
facilities maintenance, fence /repair removal, invasive weed survey/control and stream
restoration. Internships will take place at our Trout Creek Ranch property in Fields,
Oregon – a small, rural community in southeast Oregon.
