Speaker: Ciara McCarthy

The talk will cover what is required to become an ISA Certified Arborist, and how the certification is maintained. The presentation will also cover all the areas that ISA Certifed Arborists actively manage the Urban Forest canopy. Lastly, you will receive information on where to find an ISA Certified Arborist and some of the questions you can ask before you hire.

Ciara McCarthy is an ISA Certified Arborist & Municipal Specialist, and ISA Qualified Tree Risk Assessor. Ciara owns ArborSurveys & Associates, an Urban Forest Management consulting practice based in Bend. She is the Vice President of Oregon Community Trees, and the Education Coordinator for the Pacific NW Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA).
