Welcome Delaney! Our Marketing and Graphic Design Intern.
Delaney found us through the Youth Career Connect program piloted by Laurie Harrer. She was interested in an internship opportunity that included graphic design and marketing elements and Laurie connected her with TEC after learning that Delaney also had an interest in sustaining the environment and helping make real changes in our community. If you’re interested in a similar opportunity feel free to reach out to Laurie at lharrer@coic.org!

After graduating Bend Senior High School in 2026 Delaney hopes to pursue a double major in Marketing and Graphic Design. She is a dedicated and committed individual, a hard worker, and an independent minded thinker who absolutely loves seeing what the great outdoors has to offer. Whether it’s the mountains or the beach, Delaney loves it all! As a captain of her school’s water polo team and an active member of the Bend Waves water polo club team, Delaney spends almost all of her free time swimming or at the pool. When she’s not at practice you can usually find her walking around downtown, out on a hike with her dog, hanging out by the river, or thrifting at various thrift stores.
Moving from California to Oregon her Junior year, Delaney has a unique perspective on how different regions have varying degrees of environmental issues. As an intern Delaney is thrilled to have the opportunity to gain real world experience when it comes to the importance of graphic design and marketing for conservation and advocacy. Delaney is excited to help fuel The Environmental Center’s vision and make real world contributions that matter in our community.
We have Delaney for the winter, and we are so excited to bring her on board!
