Sunriver Nature Center Wants Your Old Cell Phone!

Sunriver Nature Center is now accepting limited electronic items for recycling as a fundraiser for their non profit programs. Items include:
- Cell Phones
- CDs & DVDs
- GPS Devices
- MP3 players
- Digital Cameras
- Inkjet/toners and printer cartridges
The Sunriver Nature Center is located at 57245 River Road, Sunriver. Clean out your junk drawer and use it an as excuse to visit our region’s only nature center!
The Environmental Center, located at 16 NW Kansas Ave, is also accepting these items as a Bend drop off location for the nature center. Items can be dropped off upstairs in the office Monday through Friday, 9am – 5pm.

Hey, just curious what your plans are for the used cell phones you collect..
Nomad Charities has collected well over 800 used cell phones over the past 6 years. We take them to Kenya where our kids we sponsor for university, sell them in Nairobi and it helps pay for their living expenses.
I just sent 30 phones to Kenya and our student Benjamin made $600 USD for school.

Our cell phones are collected for recycling for Sunriver Nature Center to fund their non-profit programs. It’s good to know that people can also contact Nomad Charities to donate old cell phones for another good cause while keeping electronics out of our landfill.
