2016 Sustainability Awards
The Environmental Center will host the 2016 Sustainability Awards Ceremony on Thursday, November 3rd at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Central Oregon.
The Environmental Center hosts the bi-annual Sustainability Awards to highlight the determined and persistent change makers—in business, government, nonprofits and the community—who are essential to achieving a sustainable future.
Awards will be given to an individual, small business and large business that are leading the way to a sustainable future in Central Oregon.

Tickets are for sale!
Join us on November 3rd from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. to honor the leaders, heroes and pioneers of sustainability in our community.
Tickets are limited. Reserve your seat today! As of right now, tickets cannot be purchased at the door. Event includes hor d’oeuvres, drinks, a keynote speaker and awards presentation.
In 2014, awards went to:
- Individual: Bill Hull
- Small Business: Winter Creek Restoration
- Large Business: EartH20
- Organization: Bend Area Habitat for Humanity
- Special Award – Grassroots Action: Lisa Barnett
- Special Award – Sustainability Pioneers: Tom Elliot and Barbara Scott
