Wildflower Photography

Join the Deschutes Land Trust and Mike Putnam for a morning workshop on photographing wildflowers. Mike will share his tips and tricks as you hike around Whychus Canyon Preserve. Spring wildflowers should be in full bloom and you’ll hopefully be able to capture a wide variety of native flora. Mike Putnam is a Bend-based landscape photographer. His work features the beauty of Central Oregon’s mountains, rivers, and wildflowers.

Rating: Moderate, ~3 mile hike.

What to bring: Bring your camera gear, ideas, and inspiration! Lunch/snacks, water and dress for the weather.
