SPRING HIKE SERIES: SKYLINE FOREST

This Spring Hike Series features the beautiful Skyline Forest. Join Central Oregon LandWatch for a nature hike in the sagebrush steppe, Juniper woodlands, and Ponderosa Pine forests along the base of the Cascades. Led by LandWatch’s naturalist Nathan Hovekamp, you’ll explore the diverse landscapes in Bend’s backyard.

Elevation gain: level, close to no elevation gain

Conditions: Open and sunny (can be dusty); spring allergen potential

Parking: Less than a dozen spots, permits not required. Carpool recommended.
