SPRING HIKE SERIES: METOLIUS RIVER

This Spring Hike Series features the lovely Metolius River Basin. Join Central Oregon LandWatch for some bird-watching and a walk along the crystal clear blue waters. You’ll explore the flora and fauna of the area’s myriad ecosystems and spend some time engaging in a group practice of mindfulness.

Length: 3-4 miles

Elevation gain: level, close to no elevation gain

Conditions: Partly shady to full shade, potential for patches of mud

Parking: Lots of parking at the fish hatchery, may need a Forest Service pass. Carpool options are available

Notes: A hiking stick or trekking poles can be helpful; bring binoculars if you have them

Limited availability to 20 attendees. Please limit your registration to one hike to accommodate all those interested.
