The Environmental Center's Rethink Waste Project is excited to introduce a new kind of repair event to complement our popular Repair Cafés! This free workshop, led by a handful of our sewing volunteer fixers, will teach you how to mend, sew, and darn, so that you can feel empowered to repair your own clothing, socks, and more! We have limited spots for this class, so RSVP is required. Please bring an item that needs repair that you can work on as you learn- such as a sock wearing thin, torn clothing, or a ripped backpack. We will have four teachers, and will group you according to what item you bring. You may bring additional items to work on if time allows.

Interpretación en español disponible.
