Food Waste Prevention and Composting Workshop

This free workshop by the Rethink Waste Project during Food Waste Prevention Week will dig into why food waste matters, how to prevent food waste in the first place, strategies for composting, and a chance to answer community questions. We will be joined by Denise Rowcroft, The Environmental Center‘s School Gardens Program Manager, who will cover available composting options, home composting 101, and pros/cons of various backyard composting setups, with a chance to see them first hand out in the Learning Garden.
