Faces of Farming 2016: A New Era

2nd Annual Locavore Event to Honor our Central Oregon Farming Community

This will be an evening of artful and delicious surprise, designed to honor our food growers and makers. This event will include original artwork, a silent auction, local wine and beer, and small plates galore showcasing the bounty of local farms and ranches. The menu will be designed and prepared by Cascade Culinary Institute’s Elevation Restaurant.

We believe in the power of the land and the people who cultivate it for our health and well-being. At Central Oregon Locavore, we know that the future of farming and local food will depend upon the support of local farms and the coming generation of growers and eaters. By providing our young people, and ourselves, with an understanding of where we have been, where we are now and a vision of what is possible, we lay the groundwork for a strong local, sustainable food economy. Faces of Farming connects those passionate about our land and good healthy food, cultivates strong relationships and celebrates the potential in all of us.
