Bikes, purses, toasters: fixed at a Redmond Repair Café

Thank you to those who attended our Repair Café at the beautiful new Redmond library last week, and lets hear it for our amazing volunteer fixers! Our fixers rose to the challenge- fixing bikes, purses, toasters, long underwear, clothing lines, jewelry- you name it.

In these challenging times, we believe offering free repairs and building community are more important than ever. The goal of Repair Café is to extend the life of our stuff through repair, and build community while we’re at it.

What did attendees think?

  • “I’ve been wanting this fixed for years! This is a big deal for me.”
  • “I just love this!”
  • “Excellent! Everyone was so welcoming and helpful”
  • “Really appreciate what you’re doing here.”

Our next Repair Café will be Thursday, August 21st 5:30-7:30pm at the DIYCave in Bend- we would love to see you there! RSVP is optional, but helps us plan. Visit our Repair Café page to learn more and stay up to date on events.
