Climbing Redwood Giants

Giant Coast Redwoods up close and up high as researcher Steve Sillett climbs 300+ foot trees and reveals a whole unexpected tree canopy ecosystem of huckleberries, salamanders, ferns and soil.  This film explores why we ardently care about these tallest and most magnificent trees, with amazing photography.  A retired Forest Ranger who participated in the filming will share her personal insights after the 45-minute film.

At the Environmental Center, 6:30 pm gathering/snacks, 7:00 program. $5 suggested donation. Open to the public.
