2014 Sustainability Awards: Call for Applications

Do you know an individual, business, or organization that is making sustainability real in our community, someone who sets an example for others to follow? Please encourage them to apply for a 2014 Sustainability Award. Self-applications are encouraged.

The Environmental Center is now accepting applications for the 2014 Sustainability Awards. Applications will be accepted through Wednesday, October 1st. Awards will be given to a citizen, small business, large business, and organization (agency and nonprofit) that are leading the way to a sustainable future in Central Oregon.

The Environmental Center hosts the annual Sustainability Awards as a way of highlighting the determined and persistent change makers—in business, government, nonprofit, and the community—who are essential to achieving a sustainable future. By showcasing their commitment to a healthy environment, a vibrant economy, and an equitable society, we hope to inspire even more sustainable action in Central Oregon.

The awards ceremony will take place on November 13th, 2014 at the Cascade Culinary Institute’s Elevation Restaurant!
