GLC in the Garden

Local students passionate about sustainability in their school and community are invited to join the Green Leadership Coalition at The Environmental Center on May 24th, from 4-6 pm. This month’s topic will be GLC in the garden. Denise Rowcroft, Garden for Every School Program Manager, will give an overview of the program and discuss ways high school students can plug in and get involved. We’ll also participate in Slow Food’s Plant a Seed campaign and get our hands dirty doing some garden tasks, followed by refreshments.

Garden work will be rain or shine (the rest will be indoors if inclement weather).
